Beauty is just a myth.
There is no such thing as beautiful or ugly. You are just defining things as ugly or beautiful. If you see something as ugly, for someone it may be very beautiful. Same way, what you see as beautiful, for someone it may be very ugly.
Beauty and ugliness depend on your perception.
You can make an ugly thing (which is ugly in your perception) very beautiful just by changing your perception or just by seeing it differently or just by seeing it as beautiful.
Here I am sharing a story of mine. During my college time I had a crush. I liked him so much. And in my perception, he was a very handsome guy. One day I showed his picture to my friend. After seeing his picture, my friend said, Kakali, is he really your crush? I said yes; why are you asking like that? She said, to be honest, Kakali, please don’t mind; he looks like a thug.
A similar incident happened to me again when I was studying at university; there were two boys who became my new friends. One boy was very handsome and attractive in my eyes, and another boy was normal. But for my two friends (excluding the previous friend), the normal boy was very handsome. And the boy I perceived as handsome was normal for them.
There is nothing ugly and nothing beautiful. Things are as they are. We define them as ugly or beautiful. You can change the definition. Beauty and ugliness depend on your definition.
What definition are you going to give?
