A Stressful Mind Works Against You – While a Calm Mind Works in Favour of You

A stressful mind works against you while a calm mind works in favour of you.

 

I learned this knowledge from a spiritual teacher, Abraham Hicks.

 

One day my MacBook screen got damaged due to some external force. Because of this I became so stressed and upset.

 

To resolve this problem, I would require to go to another state because there was no MacBook servicing centre in the state I was living in.

 

To go to another state I would have to take a two-way bus journey which would take a total of 18 hours, as I wanted to return the same day. The main problem for me was that it was a hilly road. I get dizzy while traveling on spiral roads.

 

By thinking about this journey, my mind became so disturbed, so stressed. But I have to repair my MacBook under any circustances. So, I had decided to go the next day.

 

At night, I booked the bus ticket online. Although, I couldn’t plan anything. I didn’t even pack my bag. I couldn’t see anything clearly about how I will go or what I will do; my mind was so stressed. Whatever action I was taking were going against me. I thought that the next day morning, before leaving I would do the packing and all.

 

At night I slept with tension. The next morning I woke up early. I noticed that my mind is still in a disturbed mood. And suddenly I remembered one knowledge I learned from Abraham Hicks: that “a stressful mind works against you while a calm mind or a peaceful mind works in favour of you.” Then I immediately decided not to go that day. I tried to cancel the bus ticket, but couldn’t do that because the cancelling time was over. I didn’t care about it. I was happy with the decision of not going, and I also decided that first I would let my mind get calm. Then I would plan for the journey again. I don’t know how long it will take for my mind to calm down, but I decided that I would wait.

 

Then, that day I got busy with my daily activities. After completing all my activities, I went out. I walked in nature. I met my friends and also met some local people. I discussed with them about my MacBook repair and my travelling plan. They gave me all the information on how to go and, in the morning what time to go, at night what time I should take the return bus and all. After getting all the information and support from them I felt so happy and excited to travel the next morning.

 

After coming back to my room, I noticed that my mind was calm. I could see my whole journey clearly in my mind’s eye. It means I have clarity now.

 

I again planned my travel for the next day morning. This time I didn’t book the bus ticket online; I decided to take the bus directly at the bus station. I packed my bag in such an organised way. I never packed my bag so early or so organised a way before, even though I travelled uncountable times before that. I always used to pack my travelling bag in a hurry and an unorganised way. So it was the first time that I packed my bag so nicely.

 

I was feeling good. The next morning I left for the journey. A stranger also helped me during the journey when I needed help. I could reach the servicing centre nicely on time; They changed my MacBook display within 45 minutes. Then I returned to my destination nicely and comfortably in the next day morning, after a whole night bus journey. At the time of going I felt uncomfortable in spiral road for around 2 hours. But while returning, I couldn’t realize when I reached my destination without feeling uncomfortable, probably because I was sleeping in the bus.

 

During this long journey, so many incidents happened, and most of the incidents were in my favour. I felt so great and so blessed. I felt like this was my first best journey in my life. Because, I never travelled with such clarity and such an organised way before. So I considered it my best journey.

 

I didn’t just learned, I applied the knowledge “A stressful mind works against you, while a calm mind works in favour of you”. It worked the exact same way.

 

Note: If you want to take any decision or if you want take any action but your mind is in disturbed mood then pause for a moment. Allow your mind to get calm first. Then take the action.
