One day I wanted to travel from one place to another. The total distance was a twelve-hour bus journey.
I decided to go to the bus stop early so that I don’t miss the bus due to traffic problems on the road. I had booked an e-rickshaw to go to the bus stop.
I saw that the e-rickshaw reached there 3 hours earlier. The e-rickshaw driver dropped me off at the bus stop with all of my luggage, and then he left.
I was alone there waiting for the bus. I was very thirsty at that time. I had forgotten to buy a water bottle while coming from my room to the bus stop.
I was looking around, but I didn’t see any shop near the bus stop, not even far away. I couldn’t even think of going far from the bus stop because I had a lot of luggage and bags. I couldn’t lift them without someone’s help.
I was thinking, like, Oh God, will I be able to bear this thirst for three hours? I just said this, and after a minute, a phone call came from that e-rickshaw driver. He said, Madam, you have forgotten your yoga mat in my rickshaw. I said, Oh, maybe I forgot about it. I also said to him, “I think you’ve already gone too far; it’s ok, I will buy another yoga mat.” He said, No, madam, I am coming to you.
I said thank you. I added, Can you bring me a water bottle while coming? I have no water; I am very thirsty. He said, Okay, I will bring it.
Now you may have a question: How did that e-rickshaw driver get my phone number? I actually had booked this e-rickshaw earlier to take me with my luggage from my room address at a specific time. So we had exchanged our numbers at the time of booking.
After 4-5 minutes, he came; he gave me the yoga mat, and then he gave me a water bottle. I felt so blessed.
I was paying him the price of the water bottle, but he did not take the money from me. I insisted, but he refused to take the money. I thanked him. And then he left.
I felt blessed. I expressed my gratitude to the universe for the water I received. I expressed my immense love and gratitude toward the universe.
For my limited mind, there was no possibility of getting water at that time. But for the universal mind, there were unlimited possibilities of getting water that I cannot even imagine. And that is what exactly happened.
Things happen so wonderfully that we can not even imagine. How wonderfully the divine source listens to us. How wonderfully the divine source takes care of us. How wonderfully the entire universe is working for us.
Here I have shared with you just one story. There are uncountable stories I have. Even in your life, if you consciously observe, you will find so many stories like this. You will find that the entire universe is always working for you.
We can see it only when we are awake, when we are in the present.
